WinDirStat 1.1 is a disk usage statistics viewer and cleanup tool.
This utility shows how your hard disk drive space is used and it helps to clean it. It’s very easy to use, on startup it opens the Select Drives dialog and you can select among three options: All local drives, Individual Drives and A folder. The utility will read in the whole directory tree showing the distribution of space.
Its GUI is designed to use a single window and show the information distribute on it in three sections: Directory List, Extension List and Treemap. The information is colored to be easy to identify and associated with the extensions, files, directories and treemap.
With this file utility is easy to identify the files to be erased showing the directories or files that use more space. Also you can see all the file extensions and which extension is the more used in your computer. This visual tool allows you to identify quickly the space used by the files or extension on the hard disk drive. And It has the option to clean directories or even the recycle bin.
The installation process is very easy to perform. It has the Help documentation included with the software that provides a good guide to use and operate the utility.
